Transparency is My obsession

I´m more or less obsessed with transparency. As a kid, I could sit for hours and admire how the light broke through crystals, glass and water, basically everything that was transparent.

Transparency permeates my life, my existence and my work. I like to work with delicate materials and meshes that are weightless, and permeable to air and light. Lacy formations and translucent patterns flatter the body without hiding it. They provide a sense of lightness and exclusivity. Transparency and sheerness has inspired me to work with different lace patterns and then vectorize them in order to apply them to other contexts, such as laser cutting.

These visual effects help, like almost all the other elements in my design, to emphasize the sense of freedom.
